Drohobych has long been a hallmark of the Lviv region. This is the second largest city in the region in terms of population and economic potential, it is famous for its centuries-old history, unique architecture and the oldest salt factory in Europe. The city has a railway station for both commuter trains and long-distance trains. If travel by train, the distance to Lviv is a little over 100 km, and if travel by car it is about 85 km.
